About Us

Welcome to the Zing Kids – After School Learning & Fitness Centre.

The Zing Kids – After School Learning & Fitness Program, designed for Kindergarten to Year 4, assists children develop fundamental literacy and numeracy skills and inculcates a fitness mindset that will help them succeed at school and develop a lifelong love of learning and growth. We tirelessly support and champion all the ways parents can nurture a child’s growth and have their voices heard. We are trusted by the local parent community in Artarmon with helping families with working parents raise the next generation of achievers.

We hope our website can give you a glimpse at our program, but we would be very happy for you to visit us – our children are our best ambassadors and would love to show you around.

To be a force for good in the growth and education of our children by encouraging their holistic development and by providing life skills that will help them succeed at school and in life. Our effort for each ZING KID is to become a confident, self-directed learner, lateral thinker, confident speaker and creative problem solver.

Our Mission

Is to tirelessly support and champion all the ways parents can participate in education and have their voices heard. We want to be a powerful force for good in education that strikes a balance at homes for working parents. As well as to be resourceful and be active support in kids education at so that every child can thrive and reach their potential.

After School Programs

As part of the After School Program, we manage school pickups within Artarmon and provide the children with a late afternoon tea. Additionally, there is always some fruit on hand for the children to snack on. We take special care of every one of our children! Specifically, here are some of our after school activities

Tutoring for Kindergarten to Year 4

We ensure that each child completes their homework and is tutored in a small group that supplements the education they receive at school. Our program is unique because we understand every child learns in their own unique way. So, we ensure each child receives the attention they need at their own pace – moving ahead in areas they excel at whilst giving the areas they’re struggling with the focus they deserve.

Computers Essentials and Beginner Coding Workshops

The importance of being online and comfortable with computers is no longer debatable. We enthusiastically prepare our children for meeting online learning challenges and in fact go further by supporting children who want to develop early skills in computer programming by holding beginner coding workshops and junior app inventor competitions.

Book Club

Jacqueline Kennedy once said – “There are many little ways to enlarge your child’s world. Love of books is the best of all. ” At Zing Kids, we love to read and believe a deep-rooted reading habit is our lifelong gift to children! Every child is encouraged to explore the world of books in our book club which reads and discusses a wide variety of books. We also host monthly reading challenges and publish reading lists for children to read on their own at home at their leisure.

Essay Writing and Spelling Competitions

In addition to reading and public speaking, we also highlight the importance of writing. Children are persuaded to use the written word to express themselves, nurture a vast vocabulary and develop critical thinking through frequent essay writing and spelling competitions.

Public Speaking

Our center is a safe space where children are encouraged to express themselves openly. We conduct public speaking workshops and have monthly recitation and public speaking events for children of all ages.

LEGO Master

All work and no play would make any of us quite dull and at Zing Kids children are encouraged to learn through play. Lego Master sessions are a fun way to get children (and adults!) to explore building things with their hands. The sky truly is the limit for our little builders.

Sports and Fitness

We know children come with boundless energy and can get restless if pinned down for too long. At Zing Kids we host games and other outdoor play activities keeping in mind seasons and weather conditions. Indoors, we host group yoga sessions for kids throughout the year.

Fee for After School and Holiday Care

Attending Zing Kids program is one of the best investments you can make in your kids future. Fees will vary according to what your kids interest & their study with us and you also need to consider other costs such as after school services, lunch and other general expenses. ZING KIDS is not eligible is not eligible for Child care subsidy.
